Mirella Caro-Cortes RMHCI
My passion is my family, which includes my husband and my two children. I am a fun; loving, mother that strives to go above and beyond to provide an excellent example for my kids.
Several years ago I decided to expand my education by becoming a clinical mental health counselor. My passion for helping others and to advocate the rights of less fortunate excited me to take the long journey. My higher education has given me a strong background in individual and group counseling. My internship embodied working with adolescents with substance
abuse and dual disorders in a residential program. As a counselor, I seek to raise awareness and guide my clients to improve their mental health by being present unconditionally to improve processes, communications, and behaviors that exist within individuals and families. My clinical approach involves the use of an integrative approach by using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Therapy.
I welcome children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. I will make myself available to meet your needs. I am also available to conduct sessions in Spanish.
